There's absolutely no debate over the penalty btw. Adebayor got to the ball before Taylor, who didn't really need to bring him down. Seemed a clear penalty to me. Ball did not change trajectory so Taylor did not get it. Clearly catches Adebayor. Steven Taylor needlessly trips Adeayor to give Spurs a penalty which Van der Vaart slotted home
